A letter from Morgan Burch:

Dear Friend,

First, I must sincerely thank you for your interest in hearing our story. You have a mountain of content you could consume right now and there are countless realtors out there for you to consider, so I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am that you chose to spend a few moments with us.

I spent my childhood in the poorest county of Iowa, where our family lived on five acres of my grandparents' 240 acre farm. As an infant, the first house I lived in was a coal miners’ house, a small old rickety box of a place. My Dad was working himself to the bone at a Marina on one of Iowa’s man-made lakes at the time. My mom was teaching piano lessons in deeply rural Iowa. My brother and I were both under the age of 2, blissfully making life much harder for our over-worked parents. Although they weren’t making any money to show for their labors of love, they were determined to better the lives of their family. My Dad did not stay at that Marina long. Over the years, I watched as transformed step-by-step into an impressive businessman. He headed community initiatives, ran businesses, and quite literally built a better world for his family. He built homes, a restaurant, an assisted living facility, stores, and even a small theater. Over time, he started and ran over a dozen successful small businesses with over 150 employees. And although we still lived on the farm, we moved into a beautiful brick ranch house that he and his good-hearted farmer of a father-in-law built with their own hands.

That’s all enough to make any daughter swell with pride. But, he didn't stop there. When his business partner died, my Dad retired. And instead of staying comfortably in the cushy life he had earned, he moved across the country to the New Jersey Hudson River Waterfront, and as he says, he chose to "re-fire rather than retire." With decades of real estate experience under his belt including numerous historic renovation projects, construction, work as a general contractor, and real estate investment, his ability to empathize with and advise clients is uniquely comprehensive and downright inspiring.

While he was making the move, I had just left the film/TV/advertising world and accepted a position for which I will always be grateful. At one of the world's leading Fixed Income financial firms, Guggenheim Investments, I specialized in sales for some of the most esoteric investments available, working directly with Registered Investment Advisors across the country. This job sparked my passion for investment and market research, a passion that has only grown since holding that position. Dad and I had become close friends in my adulthood and talked daily about business, sales, investment, real estate, and life. Finally, I asked him if he’d like to build a business with me. He said, “Are you sure that’s what you want?” I said, “Yes.”

Shortly after that, I joined forces with my father. Combining my passion for and knowledge in investments with with my strong background in film, advertising, and social media, I now get to create a highly targeted and effective marketing & sales juggernaut for each of our clients.

As a father-daughter team, my father & I strive to bring our diverse skills, shared genetic ferocity, and Iowa-bred midwestern work ethic to every deal we take on. We spend each day serving our clients to the utmost of our abilities, building a business that gives us both an immense amount of pride.

Thank you again for taking time to read this letter. If you’re interested in working with us, we’d love to welcome you into our Real Estate family. Don’t hesitate to reach out.

Warm regards,

Morgan Burch
